Arnaud Milliquet is an amateur photographer and founder of ATMA World, a creative studio exploring visual languages. His photography combines over ten years of imagery captured through various journeys and adventures.

Benjamin Salesse comes from a family of political activists. This heritage has nurtured in him a keen interest in the human condition, the ever-changing forces that shape it—politics, beliefs, technology—and ingrained an indignation toward social injustice. Those preoccupations permeate his work as an image-maker. The topical significance of the locations he photographs and the notion of “landscape as a witness to history” serve as a springboard to explore the themes of displacement, alienation, and the intimate connection between people’s psychology and their environment. Originally from Paris, Benjamin now lives in Brooklyn.

Charles Negre, born in France, graduated at Ecal, Switzerland in 2010. His work is mainly focused on the practice of still life, researching on this timeless process within the system of actual image production. Working simultaneously as an artist and commercial photographer, his personal work aims to focus on the permeability between commissioned images and self-initiated pieces.

Charlotte Krieger is a Swiss photographer based between Paris and Lausanne. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree at ECAL (Ecole Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne), she collaborated with various magazines, artists and designers, thus evolving in different circles, through the prism of fashion and still life. She also develops her personal projects, that evolves around notions such as ornamentation and beauty, notably in the form of books and exhibitions.

Dominik Bissem, born 1994, is a German graphic and type designer. Currently attending the two-year master programme in Type Design at ECAL. He is a scholarship holder of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and the German Academic Scholarship Foundation. Alongside his studies at the Peter Behrens School of Arts in Düsseldorf, he interned at Sascha Lobe’s studio L2M3. After graduating in Communication Design in 2017, he was part of the Stuttgart based Büro Uebele for three years, where he received a certificate of typographic excellence from the Type Directors Club New York. Besides his design practice, he explores his own abstract visual language, in which forms, creatures and sculptures play an essential role.

Photography duo Florence Tétier and Nicolas Coulomb create high-flash and high-powered fashion photography, pushing the medium with their selection of content. The pair have known each other for 15 years, in their working collaboration they create photographs for various fashion magazines and clients. Separately, Nicolas is a photographer while Florence is the creative director and founder of Novembre magazine, to which the duo contribute on a regular basis.

Jacob Grönbech Jensen (b. 1984 Kathmandu) is a visual artist and graphic designer based in Copenhagen. Designing for screen and print he also works with drawings, paintings and wood work. He has designed several record covers for the record label Smalltown Supersound and other labels, connecting his interest in music with his visual practice. His drawings have been published by Hour Editions, Foot Books – and also as self-published books and prints in smaller editions.

Jean-Vincent Simonet (b. 1991) graduated from ECAL in 2014. He is based in Paris and Zurich where he juggles between commissioned photography, editorial and personal explorations. In his practice he fuses analogue images, digital techniques, collage and montage with remarkable fluidity. His work is permeated by a sense of overload, exuberance and entropy. Body and decor, nature and artifice, poses and emotions collide and merge into the poetics of excess that forms the basis of the photographer’s research.

His work is a perfect mix between applied and visual arts, ranging from still life to interiors, as well as portraiture, Matthieu’ sense of graphic compositions and quirky arrangements generates layers of meaning, always maintaining a certain fun and spontaneity. He has worked for clients such as: Burberry, Cartier, Chanel, Chloe, COS, Dior, Hermès, John Lobb, Lemaire, Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Tekla, Valextra, Vitra and Yves Saint Laurent Foundation.

Copenhagen based designer working in both 2 and 3 dimensions with illustration, graphic design, art direction, set design and more. With a background in crafts, she loves to combine manual and digital processes in a visual language which is most often playful and simple – with both children and grown up children as the audience.

Designers operate constantly within: units, grids, rulers, modules, proportions, systems, programs, apparatuses, dots, graphic shapes, letterforms, alphabets and pictures. For Norm such things are not just tools. The Zurich based three headed design office, has always made use of these visual devices, not merely functionally, but also revealing the poetic aesthetic power behind it. Merging form and function in a subtle yet impactful way, that allows the viewer to peek into the wireframe of the outputs they create. Looking at any of their work, is like swallowing the red and the blue pills in the Matrix at the same time. Dimitri Bruni, Manuel Krebs and Ludovic Varone (Norm) have created timeless pieces of design, spanning from money to airports, as well as radical and unique typefaces available at lineto.com, continuing to be active in many cultural fields such as art, music, fashion, cinema, architecture, and many more.

Olga Prader (*1986 Paris) is a graphic designer, art director and illustrator. She studied at ECAL and at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. From 2014 to 2017, she worked at the design studio M/M (Paris). She has been practicing independently since 2017. Her drawing practice is characterized by both a critical attitude, tinged with humor and eroticism, towards the content she works with. Her drawings have been published by Nieves and as a coloring book C’est bien published by CPRESS in 2021. She has collaborated with the Stockholm Dance Theatre (MDT), Schauspielhaus Zurich, Hermès and various institutions and magazines. In 2021, her illustration work has been nominated for the Swiss Design Award.

Rambo Pavone was born in Rome in 1978, he soon fell in love with underground comics from any source but mainly Japanese (gekiga, heta-uma, ero guro), art and illustration in general. To be an artist in vogue in the 2000’s he buys a Vogue but it doesn’t seem enough, so he creates his own style, as intimate as possible. After the age of twenty-four he turned twenty-five twice then suddenly he turned twenty-seven.

Samuel Nyholm, alias SANY, is a Swedish cartoonist and illustrator, born in Lund, south Sweden, lives in Stockholm and Bremen and works as professor in Illustration at the Hochschule für Kunste in Bremen, Germany. Co-founder of the Center for Cartooning and Low Comedy in Bremen, The Nordic Drawing School, and the Pillow Lava international exchange network for online education. His clients, collaborators and exhibitions include: Skulptur Projekte Münster, PS1 New York, Tensta Konsthall, Stockholm, Cornel Windlin, Kunsthalle St Gallen, Arket, Vitra, Bloomberg, Die Zeit, Architectures Digest, the Goethe Institute, The Universtity of Sulaymaniyah and FLOS.

Uta Eisenreich is an artist and visual researcher based in Amsterdam. In front of her camera, she arranges ordinary objects into enigmatic compositions that trigger viewers to construct meaning. Her images balance on the fine line between sense and nonsense and allude to systems like science, magic, or language learning. Currently, she is exploring the poetic potential of sign languages. hello@utaeisenreich.xyz

João Emediato aka Calma, Joana (Belo Horizonte, Brazil) works in the intersections of visual arts, performance, and graphic design. His practice investigates the transitions between saying and showing, and how these two modes of expression can be appropriated by different narrative strategies. ficacalmajoana@gmail.com

For this series they joined forces, looking at signs for negation in diverse Deaf sign languages.

Karim Akel (CH-EGY, 1999) is a young graphic designer based in Lausanne (CH) with a versatile practice. For Karim, illustration is a field where environment as constraint plays a major role. A drawing is nothing without its environmental context and its impact on the drawing itself.

After graduating, together with his friend Jonas Buxcel, founded the label Canine Delicatessen, doing culinary pop ups and working on an annual editorial focused on food culture, sharing the same passion for cooking and design.
